This is an inscribed autograph of Andrew Preston Peabody (1811-1893),

a Unitarian minister and author who was a professor at Harvard for more

than twenty years, as well as being a preacher there. From 1853 to 1863

he was owner and editor of the North American Review.

Peabody was the author of many books, including Christianity, the Religion

of Nature (1864); Reminiscences of European Travel (1868), A Manual

of Moral Philosophy (1873); Christian Belief and Life (1875); and

Harvard Reminiscences (1888).

The autograph is on a small piece of paper that is glued to a 2\" by 4\" card.
