3 Scotty Dogs on front, Flap opens a fold-out section of famous, colorful photos, excellent condition, little wear. Back is age-toned. Item 486340 ◊ c1920s Fold-out Postcard \"for Auld Lang Syne\" Three Scotty Dogs & 10 Edinburgh Photos\"Interesting and festive \"c1920s Fold-out Postcard \"for Auld Lang Syne\" Three Scotty Dogs & 10 Edinburgh Photos.\" The Card measures approx. 5-1/2” by 3-1/2” (≈14 x 8.8 cm.) and is formatted like all postcards of the time, with a divided back. It was printed in Great Britain, by Valentine & Sons. This lovely Novelty postcard has three Scotty Dogs on the front. Then in the center, there is a flap that opens up, and a fold out section of photos of famous places in Edinburgh tumbles out. For example: The National Gallery, the Sir Walter Scott monument, Edinburgh Castle, and the National Scottish War Memorial. Then there are several photos of Prince St. We dated this card based on the vehicles in those photos. This card was not sent through the mail and it has no address nor message on the back. This original \"Edinburgh Postcard\" is in excellent condition. The corners and edges show little to no wear. The gfold-out photo are solid with no wear or soiling. The back is slightly age-toned. just a tiny big. But the edges and the surfaces are strong and clean; no soiling in front or back.
