A rare early 20th century pyrographic miniature beer apron or wall hanging depicting the crest of Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity! This impressive 12 by 16 inch suede or animal pelt leather wall hanging or very small apron was likely made by a fraternity member to hang on a dorm room wall. Boasting an impressive incized and burned crest of the fraternity, this piece is reminiscent of the much larger beer aprons made between the 1870s and 1910s. Perhaps slightly later and intended for ornamental purposes. Overall excellent shape with some marks to the shield. Buyer to pay $13.00 priority insured shipping within the US.
