Three unusual \'cabinet-card\' style photographs related to the Boer War and South Africa, circa 1900.A total of three original gelatin silver photographs mounted on studio card. Size: cards measure , each approx. 16.5cm x 10.8cm [two] and 12.8cm x 10.2cm [one]. One with studio details printed along lower edge of card. Versos are blank. Condition: Good on the whole, with a few small blemishes.The soldier on the horse is Philip Rae. The panorama shows a cavalry regiments entering Aliwal North across a bridge. The final image is ow Bowker\'s Copse, near Queenstown.⁂ Provenance: from a Rae family album of CDVs and cabinet cards.Gallery images are of the actual item and show general condition.
