c1890 Guilloche Enamel Gilt 900 Silver Calling card case. I believe this is Austrian, the quality is the best from the construction of the heavy for it\'s size box to the painting on the front enamel plaque to the the guilloche sides and reverse, all great. Some damage as shown to the Guilloche on sides, front and back are good with no scratches. 154.2 grams 2.25\" x 3.5. Entirely hand painted portrait with thick gold interior, the box only opens just under 90 degrees as shown, that\'s how it was manufactured 130 or so years ago.
