This rare poster was issued by the American Cancer Society in the mid to late 1940s to help solicit donations for cancer research from moviegoers. The poster features a photomontage design showing a man, woman and young girl under the title Cancer Strikes All Ages with additional text that reads Guard those you love….GIVE to conquer cancer. This poster isn’t dated but is a vintage original which came with other posters from the WWII era and just after the WWII era and this one appears to be from that same mid to late 1940s time period.
This vintage original WWII era poster doesn’t appear to have ever been used and is in very condition with just some toning from age and slight handling wear. This poster has a bit of foxing on the back and a bit of slight ghosting to the ink in places. The poster was issued folded and ships that way. Overall condition is very good.
