Moderately sized astral lamp, uniquely electrified. Marble base, brass reeded shaft and font, shade ring/prism holder of brass. The shade ring is a 5-inch fitter size. Overall, the lamp is 13 inches tall, and 6 inches wide. It weighs in at 5 pounds.

The ring has 11 Gothic Spear cut prisms in fair condition. There\'s one prism missing.they are just under 4 inches in length.

To electrify this, a hole for the cord was drilled in the side of the tank.

A kerosene lamp burner was modified to fill the hole and provide a chimney holder.

The burner was mounted to an older socket via the uno threading and placed in the font, where another hole was made to use the pull chain to turn it on or off.

At a later date, an in the line switch was put in.

Now,it is ready for a nice shade, and a chimney and a bulb to get going [although I believe this should be re-done for safety considerations]and light up your classic room.
