Very old and small French romantic dagger, from the middle or end of the 19th century, totally in its original condition, very sharp carbon steel blade, still has signs of nickel plating, 2 parallel hollows on each side, beautiful blade, handle typical of this type of romantic daggers, with a nickel plated bronze figurine of a musketeer, his sword is unfortunately broken, see photos, it is the only detail it has, handward with apparently lion heads, brass scabbard with nickel plating just like the handle has its original chain, an excellent museum piece, very rare to see!!! measurements: total in its scabbard: 21.5 cm (8.5in). Dagger: 20cm (8in). Blade: 11cm (4.4in) x 1.5cm width max.
