ThisA600 has been restored both electronics and cosmetics. The paper capacitors were replaced with modern film capacitors. A FILT-R-PAK + has been installed, which is a circuit board under the chassis that contains all the filter capacitors, a modern silicon rectifier to replace the old selenium rectifier, a power resistor. The tubes were tested and replaced where necessary. The dial light bulb has been changed to an LED bulb, which shows the dial nice and bright as a picture shows. The dial light is powered by one D cell battery behind the wave-rod antenna. The radio brings in stations on all the bands. The radio was tested on a working battery, and it functions properly. The cabinet was cleaned and treated with black shoe dye and black shoe polish. All the plastic was polished to like new condition with plastic polish. The brass parts were cleaned and polished, then treated to prevent tarnish. The wave rod antenna is straight and functions properly. The catch near the top functions well.
