XRare 1944 TWA Flight Attendant Uniform W/Cap Howard Greer Design Jacket/Skirt:

This is an extremely rare 1944 TWA Flight Attendent Uniform, dress, and cap designed by famous Hollywood fashion designer Howard Greer. The skirt is size 12, and it’s made of 100% virgin wool.

Rumors suggest Mr Greer was approached by Mr Howard Hughes to come up with a design. The folding jacket lapel allowed the stewardess to enjoy some gum or a quick smoke while covering her TWA stewardess cut out and taking off their cap. This design lasted until the mid 1950’s.

The complete ensemble of 5 pieces plus the cap is in wonderful condition with no stains, tears, or pulls. The buttons on the white dress are supported by small safety pins but they are still threaded and attached to the dress.
