Your original volume control pot will be used with this kit. Please see my other volume control kit with the new potentiometer if you would like to replace your old volume control pot. Odds are, by now the volume control in your early Wurlitzer jukebox needs a rebuild, but you aren't looking to break the bank. Well today's your lucky day! I have been working with suppliers from all over the good ole' USA to bring us all a kit that not only is cost affordable, but is filled with quality components that will last a long time.Up for sale here is a brand new kit assembled for the Wurlitzer volume control systems in models 700 thru 503 Sound Systems found Pre-War models thru 1080.*Please Inquire if you are unsure if this will fit your box* If you are using the popular Astatic/ Pfanstiel 51 or any other ceramic cartridge, this kit will increase the bass response of your jukebox. When changing cartridges from the old magnetic cart to new ceramic carts, the volume control box must be modified or there will be a serious loss of frequency response, making your jukebox sound unresponsive and just plain terrible. This modification must be done when you convert your box to a ceramic cartridge. Every existing component in the original volume control will be removed, and you will replace it with these 4, simple pieces!Modern engineering at its finest! This volume control kit is a tried and true "One Stop Shop" for completely restoring your old, failing volume control box with brand new components. It doesn't get any more simple than this.
