Wooden Islamic prayer beads for everyday use and special prayers. Natural Indonesian johar wood tasbih (scientific name: cassia javanica) prayer beads with 2 dividers. Handcrafted with 99 8mm round beads with a muezzin (divider) at each 33-bead section and a lathed imam (or alif) bead. These prayer beads have an inside circumference is 28-inches so they fit easily over the head. Strung on virtually unbreakable black nylon cord consisting of 6 woven strands. Handcrafted in Indonesia, johar wood has a beautiful character because of the contrast between the grains of wood.
These tasbih prayer beads feature our adjustable tension design where you can set the distance between the beads to your liking. The beautiful handmade black tassels are also a plus. The beads and string are water-resistant but we do not use any finish or coating. The beads have a natural luster from polishing. Our johar wood tasbih also has an additional 10-bead counter above the alif for extensive repetitions. Perfect for men or women. Care recommendations: We do not recommend wearing this wood tasbih in water or in the shower as the reaction to chemicals may cause the wood to lose its natural luster.
