Wittnauer Collectors\' Guild 8\" Plates with pictures on them by Remington showcase some of the best of Americana and the wild West.
His pictures are a classic and recognized throughout the world.
Each picture on the plate is surrounded with a gold band and intricate scrollwork.
This is beautifully accomplished with appropriate colors that capture the time and place of the scene.
In \"A Dash For The Timber\" you can almost feel the dryness of the land and the heat coming through the hazy clouds with a blue water mirage reflecting underneath the horses!
So, my thought about it was to get a shadowbox frame and place this in the center with a collections of family photos of trips taken toWestern Themed Parks, Vacation Destinations, etc. or perhaps print out some Copyright Free Western heroes, Old Time Western Scenes, Wanted Posters, Post Cards, etc.
For added interest, Small Souvenirs would also be a good addition to your shadow box.
This would be a nice family memory project to use any place in your home.
Of course, the plate could always be hung on the wall with a plate holder, but I happen to like the project idea better. (Prejudiced)
