The message includes, \"This is an ice gorge extending for more than two miles in length.\" The postcard is postmarked from Winslow, IL, Feb 21, 1911, 1c stamp. I assume this is a view of the Pecatonica River which is near Winslow. Nice historical image with the ice and a bridge. There is a crease on the upper left corner, otherwise good condition. Please see the scans for condition.
