When a \"volcanist\" scientist correctly predicts a volcano will erupt in the city, then demands a fortune to stop it, Captain Marvel suspects shenanigans. Golden Arrow agrees to protect timid tenderfoot Jaspar Meake when he arrives in the West, but Jasper didn\'t warn him about the real danger he faces. Prince Ibis and Taia discover that vampire Baron Ornzy and his sister Maryani have come to America aboard an ocean liner.
