An extra large mug made by Wedgwood of England commemorating the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare. The mug shows scenes of the various Shakespearean plays around the exterior of the mug, showing Hamlet - Henry IV- Lear- Othello - Richard III - MacBeth. Merry Wives- Winters Tale - Henry VI - Coriolanus - Titus- Hamlet, with the plays and explanatory information and Wedgwood insignia on the bottom of the mug, that shows kiln marks around the bottom rim.
Designs sponsored by the 1964 Shakespeare Anniversary.
4.75" H. x 5" W. x 3.5" D.
*** The mug handle has a crack on the bottom, which was repaired. It was shown in the picture of the handle. Please refer to the pictures for its condition.
