Antique earthenware centerpiece dessert bowl. Decorated with hand painted butterflies, insects, and flowers. Has a purple fish scale and gold scrollwork border. Gold highlights to the handles. Unmarked. Produced by Wedgwood. Circa 1830.
Has some crazing typical of earthenware, some wear to the gilding, some staining, and a crack extending off the edge. Measures approximately 12 1/4 inches long x 7 3/8 inches wide x 6 1/2 inches tall.
