This is a super rare vintage USGI Auto-Ordnance (Thompson 1928a1) removeable buttstock that also fits the modern Auto-Ordnance 1927a1 deluxe model with the removeable buttstock. It has a rarely seen ordnance stamp (see pics) and a rack number, indicating it was from an issued in-use firearm from the WWII era. Excellent condition with all parkerized mounting hardware and buttstock, with the spring-loaded trapdoor for an oiler or cleaning kit. This also is a \"no-crossbolt\" type, which indicates it\'s an early model.
