Two Complete WWII-dated TENT POLES, consisting of six separate sections with matching contractor (\"JUDD\") and matching year (\"1945\") and the \"U.S.\" surcharge...each of the six in near perfect condition.SCARCE, SCARCE, SCARCE, to find six matching sections for the complete tent made of the two \"Shelter Hales. (NOTE: Officers were issued a Complete tent consisting of TWO shelter halves, TWO complete poles (folding, or sectional), as well as TEN pins, and TWO guy lines and TEN foot stop ropes (to secure the pins).This was vastly superior to its predecessorIntroduced in 1944 as the \"Pole, Tent, Single, Section\" painted Dark Shade OD#7, three sections made a single TENT POLE for the Shelter, Half\" tent of the Bar, Field, Insect. These \"Pole Sections\" were also used by Marine Corpsmen and Army Medics on the beachheads and aid stations as IV stands to administer plasma and blood.+ Condition is NEAR MINT+++.+ ZERO corrosion to the stamped steel fittings.
