WWII Special Light Shade OD5 Original HBT Jacket | Issued Condition | 36R:

For sale is an issued condition original “special” HBT jacket in OD5 light shade.

The jacket has some small holes throughout - due to the internal gas flap and buttons being removed (a common practice by soldiers due to it being incredibly annoying). All other black 13 star buttons are in tact.

Although it is marked 36R, HBTs were commonly oversized, due to their intention as being worn as an over garment. That being said, the jacket can comfortably fit a size 40 chest (I am a 42 and it fits me) with a light garment underneath.

The original tag is in tact on the left chest pocket, however, it is completely illegible. There is a stamp on the bottom left of the HBT: G-1592, likely an inspectors mark from the manufacturer.

Aside from a few small holes, the jacket has a great issued look: perfect for any impression!
