Guaranteed original FSSF Group of insignia and personal effects to Sgt. Joseph Winston Harkness, who was a member of 1st Company, 3rd Regiment. He is verified and listed on the FSSF roles. This is the first time these items have ever been on the open market. I\'ve owned them since 2019, and am finally ready to pass them on to a true FSSF Collector. I held them in hopes more items would surface from his estate, but after years of communication with the previous caretaker of these items (and a personal friend of his) I am fairly convinced there will be nothing else available for sale. I was told several years ago his uniform, multiple purple hearts, and extra SSI were sold to a collector in the early 2000\'s, but I\'ve not seen any of those items on any of the sale sites or the sites that track them. Perhaps they will surface again some day. There was also allegedly a set of dog tags that his long time girlfriend (who passed several years ago) maintained, but were passed along to someone in her family in the past few years. Hopefully those too will resurface and can be reunited with this very rare grouping. Everything shown is included - a genuine FSSF Unit Crest/Insignia, the knife was from the hospital he was in after being wounded in Italy - his sterling CIB, shooting badges, AE Co. jump wings, pocket knife, and various other pins, buttons, insignia and some coins. The CIB and Jump Wings have had some hardware removed for its previous display, The tag with the stone is marked \"Alaskan Muskee 1943\" and on the back \"Aleutian Islands Kiska\". The Hitler youth patch has an accompanying paper that reads \"Italy 1944 Taken off German Soldier\". The bullet has an accompanying piece of paper that says \"Joe\'s Bullet ANZIO\". Interestingly he parted with the uniform and medals, but these items were things he kept forever. The photos, and documents are copies of originals. They are his death memorial program from 2002, photos from Rome, and a letter from Lt. Howard C. Wilson (FSSF) to Sgt. Harkness after he was wounded. The photo of Harkness just before his death shows the previous caretaker of his effects. On the reverse it reads \"Sgt.
