WWII HS-18 Head Set for US Army Air Corps Soft helmet w/ interesting repair (HM):
$95.00

This is an original HS-18 headset. This is an original WWII surplus item. These were used by the Signal Corps and the Army Air Corps. On this particular set the receivers are in good condition but the wiring has issues. One end has popped out of the little mounting hole which is a simple fix. What is so interesting is how a airman or soldier made a homemade loom to hold the wires together. Hey, pretty ingenious to say the least. I just discovered these mixed in with some other headset parts I had in a box. All my headsets were picked up in a base sale in the 50\'s from Laughlin AAF Air Field. This is 100% original and untampered with. The receiversare R14 and made by WM. J. Murdock. This is a little dusty from long term storage.
