WWII Greek Communist Resistance Poster - ELAS Woman Fighter - 17 x 23-1/2 - 1944:

A nice and unusual 1944 dated poster from a little known theater of WWII. It is a poster of a female fighter in ELAS, the main Communist resistance group during the German occupation. The resistance groups in Greece seemed to spend as much time fighting each other as they did the Germans. She has a machine gun over her shoulder. It is approx. 17" by 23-1/2". The condition is near very good with some creasing and age. There are old tape reinforcements at the corners and some minor edge tears.
