WWI M1889 German Prussian Cavalry Officers Sword w/Scabbard - Etched - Bavarian?:

WWI M1889 Prussian German Cavalry Officers Sword with Scabbard. Ricasso appears unmarked, blade has "Ges Gesch" mark. The grip and guard wiggle. The guard is marked "G.A." over "1915." and both sides are overbent. The grip is complete but has a slice by the pommel cap. The etched blade has what looks like "Bur Crinnerung an meine Dienftzeit." (possibly "for memory of my service") on it, overall itis straight, unsharpened, the tip is sharp, a few nicks, and there is some surface rust mainly on the upper half. The black scabbard has a "15" on the drag, no dents/dings, minor surface rust freckles scattered around, the throat piece and screw are missing. Washer is intact. Length of the blade measures 30 1/2" (13/16" wide x 3/16" thick spine), length of the sword is 36", and in the scabbard it is 36 13/16".
