WWI Era US Army AEF M1916 Leather Holster M1911 Pistol Marked: BOYT - NICE:

This is a WWI AEF US Army M1916 Leather Belt Holster for the Colt M1911 45acp Pistol. This is a vintage old military belt holster. It is used, see photo's for Condition. The leather is still soft and supple. All the stitching is tight and not fraying. Some minor wrinkling and small cracks of the leather on the flap. A few scars. It still has the internal leather block. The leather has darkened somewhat with age. It is marked US in an oval logo on the front of the flap and it is marked: BOYT with E.T.C. inspector initials on the rear. Also a a "0" stamped on the side (see pics). The manufacturer's markings are clear and readable. This is a nice example of a WWI holster.
