Unit history of the 6th Air Park Squadron (Formerly 822nd Repair). Quite hard to find, extremely hard to find in this condition. We can locate only a single tattered copy available online.
Published by Berger-Levrault, Printers (Nancy / Paris / Stasbourg), 1918. Chronicles the experience of the squadron from leaving American soil to living in France (with a brief stay in England). The 822d was an aircraft maintenance and supply company, part of the larger 4th Pursuit Group and remained in France until after the armistice.
Condition is quite nice. 101 pages. Soft cover, front gilt still 90% (+) intact. Pages still attached at spine. Clean inside, only one stray marking we can find - a name is partly underlined.
As typical with these histories, much of the daily life routine is chronicled. Contains unit photos as well as a full roster.
A nice one for the bookcase.
