Description: 1 rare antique World War 2 Chinese Nationalist Army Officer's Dirk available. This Chinese dagger would make a fine addition to any collection.
The fittings are decorated with plum blossoms, and Chinese characters. The inscription reads 'Central Army Academy Student Graduation Commemoration from the Ninth Graduating Class -- from Principal Chiang Chung-chang (Chiang Kai-shek, ruler of China).
This dirk measures 14 3/4" overall. The blade itself measures 9 5/8".
Condition: The mounts are in exceptional condition. The blade had rusted over the past 80-90 years so there is pitting on the blade.
