Bulgarian Order of Bravery IV Grade/2nd Class. Order of Bravery is one of the oldest and most prestigious awards of the Bulgarian Army. Rare 1944/45 emission with star (*) instead of date on front. These were awarded to officers for actions of bravery during the Macedonian and Hungarian campaigns against the Axis in Sept.-Oct. 1944 and Jan.-May 1945. Text on front \"За храбость\" (\"For bravery\"). Back is same as all emissions with 1879 year of institution, monogramme of the founder of the order Alexander I and text \"Князъ на България\" (\"Prince of Bulgaria\").Ribbon is repro replacement (only the medal itself is original), but original ribbons can be found with patience. Enamel is in excellent condition. Only flaw is the slightly faded * (for 1944/45) on the front.
