Truly lovely pieces at exceptional prices! Finesse salad forks, not new, are offered for sale on a famous replacements website for $69.95 each. These are priced so low only because I have so many. They appear to have been carefully used. No damage. No bending or pitting.

11 forks have the WMF in a straight line on the back of the fork and each weighs 1.4 ounces. 3 forks have the W over the MF are heavier at 1.6 ounces.

Visually it is difficult to tell the two types apart.

Finesse is a pattern of extraordinary elegance and grace. Created by Kurt Mayer of Germany, it is sculptured and balanced for comfort, impeccably produced of Cromargan 18/8 stainless steel by WMF in satin finish. This Finesse pattern is highly valued and sought after by collectors of fine tableware. Fraser's Inc on Fifth Avenue in New York was the US distributor of WMF tableware. The pieces are made of an 18% chromium and 8% nickel alloy called Cromargan. It can't tarnish or discolor; soap and water keep it clean and bright; it's unharmed even by harsh detergents and machine washing at high temperatures. A solid metal stronger than silver, the Cromargan steel used to make these pieces retains its appearance indefinitely.

These forks have the appearance of being very carefully used.
