Maker: On the reverse of this beautiful Wedgwood jasper ware plate is the word WEDGWOOD, the phrase MADE IN ENGLAND and an unclear impressed date mark.
Design and age: The raised terracotta decoration against a celedon or sage green background presents horse figures inspired by the English artist George Stubbs [1724-1806], renowned for his exquisitely detailed and accurate depictions of horses.
Size: The plate is 6 3/4 inches wide and weighs 8.9 ounces.
Condition: It\'s in excellent condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, stains, discoloration, repairs or wear.
