Designed by Ben Peterson,formerly of the Headquarters in Pleasant Grove, Utah, the Banter is named forthe video series that he helped pioneer during his time there. Even years afterhe\'s been gone, the quality he brought to their videos remains. The Banter ishis collaboration with We Knives drawing inspiration from other folding kniveswith the sole aim at being the perfect EDC piece. We think Ben succeeded andthis knife is an impressive tool that hits a lot of marks right on the nose.

First and foremost, theBanter is an ideal size for everyday carry. The nearly three-inch blade ishoused in a compact handle so the overall length is just a hair oversix-and-a-half inches. The wide base gives you ample room to grip and placesthe cutting surface right next to the fingers for more leverage. It\'s a simpleshape with simple G10 and stainless steel liner construction but what it lacksin design aesthetics it more than makes up in terms of ergonomics and strength.It\'s comfortable, solid, and it just flat out gets the job done. Dual thumbstuds allow multiple opening methods but the deep-carry pocket clip is onlyset-up for tip-up, right-hand carry. The jimping on the thumb ramp isultra-functional and the lanyard hole is large enough for 550-paracord. Benthought of everything on the Banter and we welcome it as a force to be reckonedwith in the growing realm of EDC knives.
