Selling for a collector who is down-sizing his collection:
- A vintage, handheld Zenith Royal 500 Transistor Radio - Ch= 7ZT40Z1- \"owl radio\"
- In working condition
- The radio is black and has a gold tone grill, upper plate for black \"owl eye \" knobs and a gold crest.
- Produced 1956-1957.
- Approximate measurements: 3 1/4 inches across x 5 1/2 inches high x 1 3/8 inches deep
- Batteries are not included.
- 3 of the 4 electrolytic caps were replaced.
- One battery connection was repaired
- PLEASE NOTE: The battery cover is not original to the radio, and it does not have any prongs to hold it in place
- The antenna wire was repaired.
- Cosmetically, the front of the case is in good vintage condition. The back of the case shows significant wear.
- The radio comes with its swing stand.
- Batteries are not included.
