Vtg Wagner Ware Magnalite #4265M Cast Aluminum 6 Qt. Roaster Stew Soup Pot w/lid:

Offered in good, clean used condition is one (1) Vintage Wagner Ware Magnalite Heavy Cast Aluminum 6-7 Quart Roaster/Soup/Stew Pot #4265 with it\'s well fitting lid. (Six quarts fills it to about 1 1/2\" from the rim and 7 quarts fills it to 1/2\" from the rim). The underside is marked \"Wagner Ware - Sidney - O (for Ohio) - Magnalite -4265\". It measures approximately 4 3/4\" tall without the domed lid, 6 3/4\" tall with the lid on to just under the lid handle, 4 5/8\" deep measured from the inside with a 10\" wide X 12 3/4\"long rim measurements not including the handles or 15 1/2\" handle to handle.

Condition: Good clean used condition with a good flat & level bottom with no warp or wobble. Overall surface scratches from normal use, cleaning & storage in the cabinets with some signs of pitting on the inside that I believe are from leaving salty foods in the pot overnight but no dents, dings or scorching. USE & CARE:

To prevent warping, let cookware cool before coming into contact with water. To remove burned on food, soak before cleaning and scrub with a plastic scouring pad. DO NOT use abrasive scouring powders, pads or steel wool. Thoroughly wash pan after each use. Use hot soapy water to avoid staining caused by food or grease residue buildup. Dishwasher use will dull aluminum and phenolic finishes. Avoid long-term storage with foods. Some foods and salt can “pit” the surfaces and make it difficult to clean. Add salt to liquid only after it reaches the boiling point, and stir to dissolve completely. Use of high heat may cause foods to stick.
