Vintage Gunther Beer shell glass in PRISTINE condition. Condition is "Used"

All glasses are inspected very closely and graded according to the scale at the bottom of this description page, please take the time to read and understand the scale. Any chips, cracks, or notable scratches will be mentioned in the primary description below. Please contact me with any questions.

6oz, 4” tall glass in PRISTINE condition. Please look closely at all photos for an accurate understanding of condition. Gunther put out a series of 5 different labels in the later 1950s that were designed around this oval racetrack logo. This example is the basic logo, and there are 4 other labels with this logo surrounded be various slogans, like, "happiest taste in beer" or "Get in the Golden Mood". Kind of a neat little set to collect within the larger set of Gunther Beer glasses. These old beer glasses are perfect for display or every day use. Grab this one today and enjoy your next man cave happy hour in style! I list vintage beer glasses every week. Please have a look through my other listings and check back in regularly!

GRADING SCALE:

  • PRISTINE = no identifiable wear marks of any sort, the glass is like new.

  • NEAR-PERFECT = less than 5 minimal, very light wear marks identifiable only using a light source and looking very closely.

  • EXCELLENT = up to 15 light wear marks around the glass, such as rub marks and micro-scratches, but no true scratches. Possibility of very minor chip/scratch in the label if there are no other wear marks on the glass.

  • VERY GOOD = similar number of wear marks as excellent rating, just a little more noticeable. Possibility of a light scratch ring on the bottom surface. Possibility of a minor chip or scratch in the label, nothing obvious.

  • GOOD = many light wear marks with the possibility of 1-2 minor scratches somewhere on the glass. Noticeable scratch ring on the bottom surface likely. Possibility of minor label damage.

  • WELL USED = lots of wear and/or multiple obvious scratches. Heavy scratch ring on the bottom surface likely. Significantly faded or damaged label possible.

  • DAMAGED = cracked, chipped, or very heavily worn glass.

Thanks for looking and happy shopping!
