This is a rare find! This is from a series of zodiac signs that this Italian porcelain maker did in the 1970s, I believe. This particular one is the eighth astrological sign of the Scorpio. It is a scorpion with its tail up and pinchers open, as if ready to strike. It sits on a pretty yellow and green base and is signed on the bottom. It stands at approximately 3 inches tall and is 4 1/2 inches long. It is in great condition, but please see all the photographs. The very tip of the tail seems chipped. There is a little glaze residue on the scorpions back. Ships from a non-smoking home.
