Subject: Back view of a little boy in blue short pants, red suspenders and a straw hat with red, white and blue hatband. The boy is holding an ax and dragging the chopped-off branch of a cherry tree. This depicts the story about President George Washington who, as a small boy, chopped off a cherry tree branch and answered his father honestly when asked who did that.
