Letter reads as follows:

“Your statement of account addressed to John S. Smith Dust Collector Company was delivered to us through a mistake, but as we happened to know some thing about the alleged company, we advise that you send the statement to Mr. T. G. Bennett of this city, accompanying it with a note saying that you understand he was a member of this company, and asking him to give it attention. We fear the claim is not of any great value, as we have been unable to collect an account of the purifier company against the same concern; but we certainly hope you may be more successful.
