Volkstedt German Dresden porcelain lace Prima Ballerina Queen Large scale seated figurine at approx. 7 1/2 inches tall & 7 inches across in wonderful condition with only very minor hard to notice lace loss seated in a very elegant form with her slender long legs folded properly with gorgeous yellow ballet slippers crossed up her ankles with her dress being done in the very old string pulled technique which is the lace gathered in rows with string and pulled into ruffled form before firing, really quite lovely to look on. She has a gold gilt hand painted crown with a jewel gemstone place and fired into the center with all slender separated fingers intact. The sea foam green sash encircling the piece gives it quite an eye-catching elegance and grace to the piece which is a fine solid sturdy weight properly marked as well with the eldest Volkstedt mark.
