Handcrafted khatam long octagonal shape wooden box with very delicate micro mosaic marquetry from the ancient Persian technique of inlaying from arrangements of so many delicate pieces of precious wood and bone or ivory.
This beautiful Middle Eastern Persian style box is covered with fine Moorish micro mosaic marquetry and lined in plush red fabric.
This is a beautiful heirloom quality piece of cultural artisan work in beautiful condition. Some minor rust at front latch. Minor lacquer loss to surface.
