Raised inlay of various shell, turquoise, coral, onyx, mother of pearl, set in sterling silver. Truly magnificent vintage Zuni handmade bracelet featuring incredible pillowed or raised overlay inlay images. The central design of a rain cloud is a favorite by these artists and a traditional Native American symbol. The craftsmanship is impeccable and unique. Rarely have I seen this type of inlay used in a bracelet and certainly not to this extremely high quality that you see here.

These two artists are without a doubt Masters of their craft. Valentino Banteah (1955- ) and Matilda Banteah (1955- ) Husband-and-wife team who have been producing inlay jewelry since 1 973. Valentino does the silver work, while Matilda does the stone work.

The stone work is so creative and fun. The colors are vibrant and well balanced to go with everything in your wordrobe. Pictures just don't do this piece justice. This amazing stone work is sure to capture the attention of everyone around you. There are not seen many of these pieces out there so they are not easy to come by. This came from my grandmother’s private collection. I believe this to be made in the early 80’s.

From one side to the other it measures 6 inches. 1 and 1/4 inch opening. The band is 3/4 inch wide.

Don't pass this one up because it would make a great addition to any collection.
