The first time i tried it, it worked for a few minutes minute then stopped ticking. But I spun the alarm hand around, it sounded off the alarm and the clock started ticking again and seemed to work after that. So you can make it work, but may take a little tinkering. Maybe just hasn\'t been used enough lately and needed to be warmed back up. I wouldn\'t trust it to make sure I was awake for work though.

Bottom clips on back are sheared off so back stays on, but can come off a little easily.
