Vintage Vaughan 707M 32 oz Super Framing Hammerw/ Milled FaceFresh from a local estate sale. Vintage Vaughan 32 oz. Super Framing Hammer is the heaviest framer you can buy. It is proportioned to give excellent balance and has a milled face. The head has a chip on one of the tines of the claw, some roughness on the milled face chamfer and is a bit rusty, see pictures. The milled face has been flattened a bit from use and there is a number one, \"1\", forged in the underside of the claw. The original 17\" white hickory handle is triple-wedged. The handle is beat up, but solid, see pictures. I have lightly cleaned it enough to take the pictures. The wood was pretty dry, so I used some Murphy\'s oil soap on it. An interesting collectible as well as a solid user hammer for those who need a big one. It definitelycould be cleaned further, but that pleasure belongs to the new owner.
