Edit: after listing this I noticed the glue or epoxy or whatever it is is on the muzzle end of this holster, so I added a pic. I don't know if it was put there from the manufacturer or if the stitching started to come loose around the muzzle and somebody slapped some epoxy on it. It is fairly firmly attached and not noticeable when worn.

This holster is in good shape with just minor marks and the standard green/blue corrosive junk that happens around brass rivets in leather and is easily wiped up. Fits my 1911 snugly plus has a simple fool-proof clasp and I would open carry my 1911 in it with confidence.
