Vintage Tefillin Set w/Velvet Bag Judaica Hebrew Jewish 3x3cm Needs Minor Work:

Vintage tefillin set, standard size boxes 30mm x 30mm. For right-handed Ashkenazi. These were used by a late elderly family friend who was shomer mitzvos and were used for many years. Probably made in USA.

The Shel Rosh was opened up to check the scrolls, and needs a sofer (scribe) to close it up again. Both boxes need some paint from normal wear and tear. These are minor repairs easily performed by a sofer.

Boxes are solid. Straps are in very good condition and are clearly newer than the boxes. Velvet bag is in very good condition.

With a small amount of work, these tefilin will be back to what costs considerably more.
