This vintage Swiss Chalet music box is a charming addition to any collection. Measuring approximately 4.5 x 4.5 inches, it features a cute design that captures the essence of Swiss architecture. These little Vintage revolving Wooden Swiss Chalet scenes, wind from the top (clockwise) and this one plays a lullaby on an 18 note Swiss Reuge Mechanism The roof lifts for maybe placing a ring or small pendant. The unit is hand-painted with careful detail and some variations. It is sweet and in excellent condition. It has not played much. It also has a wooden off/on sliding thumb piece to stop the music without lifting it from its place. They don't make them like this any more. Today most usually, the music on chalets are left to wind down.
