This vintage Sanyo Japan tea/luncheon set with Bavarian Germany decor is in unused condition in original box. The set includes five cups/mugs and five plates, all made of high-quality pottery material. The raised relief design adds a unique touch to the set, making it perfect for hosting guests or enjoying a quiet afternoon tea or lunch.
The cups measure 3\" in height and are 2 5/8\" in diameter excluding the handles. Matching plates measure 6 1/4\" wide by 5 1/2\" long. They have a slightly recessed area where the cup sits. Cup has a double sided design; one side has a couple dancing and the reverse has a Bavarian village. The borders of the plates are made to match both sides of the cup. Due to the size of the plates, they can also double to serve small finger foods. This is a heavy set, weighing 5 pounds before packaging.
