This gold and blue vintage Sadler teapot is a stunning piece of ceramic history. It is in very good condition with some minimal wear, due to its age, no chips or cracks or crazing that I can see. Made in England around the 1940s, it has a very retro two-tone coloring with a gold swirl imprint, ribbon or wave design. A wonderful example of mid century tea time. It measures 9.5\" wide x 7\" high and 4\" at the mouth/lid. It is marked and numbered. The number looks like 1557 L. A rare find!
