Gorgeous restored H. GREENBERG - HAND FORGED - straight razor. Razor has been dis-assembled, cleaned, polished, new bevel set, honed, waxed and is shave ready. Shank and tail were re-blued and lettering was recolored with silver Rub-n-Buff. Blade is nice with only a few spots and scratches throughout. See pics for more details. Looks awesome. Light to moderate hone wear. Finished with one layer of tape on spine on a vintage Thuringian hone.Blade width measures at 11/16ths.
Razor length is 6 1/4ths inches.
Jimps on bottom side of shank.
Blade grind is a full hollow. Front side of shank is stamped 99 - H. GREENBERG. Back side is stamped - HAND FORGED - SOLINGEN-GERMANY. Scales are original Swirled Butterscotch celluloid with brass inlay and fancy bolsters. Bolsters have the HG stamped on them. Super fancy. They look great for age. Some dings in bolsters and some surface cracks in celluloid in a few places. Also, a small amount of warping. They have been cleaned, polished and waxed. Pins are tight and blade closes on center.
