This vise was restored correctly .Completely taken apart inspected check for damage welds breaks found the lips under the jaws missing almost all shop kings are missing the small lip but no one realizes it. The vise works perfect.All old paint removed to metal all scars sanded out no fillers used. Primed and Painted Hammer Black Silver highlights,polished all exposed metal. Vise is 13 in L 7 in H 4 in jaws weight 25 lbs. The vise works like new only with a much nicer paint job. This vise is pre 1957 as it was made in Chicago Wilton moved to Schiller Park after 57. This is a nice example of a Wilton Shop King vise. Vise has the original pipe jaws the wire cutter hardy is missing I added hole plug to make it look finished . This vise is about 70 years old it is not a show vise it is a restored working tool that looks and works great .The art deco look gives the vise its appeal.
