This is volume 1number 20 From 1837of the Quincy patriot, later to become the Quincy patriot ledger ,which is still published today in Quincy Massachusetts I got this newspaper and many others like this from the catacomb basement of the old patriot ledger building still standing in downtown Quincy mass it’s in excellent shape for being almost 200 years oldThe paper doesn’t have any acid in it so it doesn’t have any yellowing or flaking you can also feel the impression of the letters in the paper from the old press it does have a couple of watermarks on it as I found it in the basement but an incredible piece of Quincy Massachusetts history just dying to hang in someone’s den ,office ,or business.. PS the newspaper was framed to protect it During storage ..the frame does not come with the newspaper ,but will package Carefully and accordingly
